Dr. Girard attended medical school at Universidad Autonoma De Santo Domingo in Republica Dominicana.
He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at New York Methodist Hospital in New York, New York.
Dr. Girard is a member of the American Medical Directors Association, American Geriatric Society, National Council of Aging, Florida Council of Aging and the Alzheimer's Foundation of the Palm Beaches.
He has professional honors, awards and certificates such as Honored by the Mayor of Boca Raton for efforts with the West Boca Relief Team to be first physician in organizing and arranging a Medical Team to aid with Hurricane Andrew with supplies, food, medication and support.
Dr. Girard holds staff privileges at West Boca Medical Center in Boca Raton, Florida.
He is certified as a Medical Director by the American Medical Director Association.
Dr. Girard is certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
