About Us

PrimeCare, LLC was founded by Jai Cho, MD, Pariksith Singh, MD and Raul Revello, MD for purposes of entering into global risk contracts with Medicare Advantage (MA) health plans.  Originally doing business in the Tampa Bay counties of Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Hernando, PrimeCare has now expanded all across Central Florida to now include Sumter, Citrus, Marion, Lake, Seminole, Orange, Polk, Osceola, Sarasota, and Manatee counties.  We have also expanded all across South Florida Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, Brevard and Palm Beach counties.  The number of affiliated primary care physicians (PCP's) and/or locations within Florida now exceeds 150.

The management and majority ownership of PrimeCare are successors of InterMed, LLC which had its origins in 1999.  Having started modestly with only 2 employees, six clinic location, 3 counties, approximately 2000 MA lives, and one risk contract, PrimeCare, as its majority successor has grown exponentially to now employ over 20 people overseeing 150 pcp clinics in the 19 counties comprised of over 20,000 MA lives participating on 6 MA risk contracts.

PrimeCare, LLC made the transition from InterMed to PrimeCare in April 2006, at about the time the Medicare Modernization Act of '06 was enacted that spurred the onset of the Prescription Benefit (Part D) to the Medicare Program, thus, reigniting interest and expansion of MA plans' activity throughout the country.

PrimeCare's main corporate is located in Tampa, Florida (Hillsborough County) while its satellite office can be found in Brooksville, Florida (Hernando County).  Although the majority of PrimeCare employees are in these two locations, several staff members are based in the Orlando area and the Treasure Coast in St. Lucie.  The management of PrimeCare is spearheaded by Martin Revello, MPH who served as its President since the inception of both PrimeCare and InterMed.  For additional information on PrimeCare and who to contact, please see the Administration & Operations section of our website.
